Experience: Ms. Schultz joined the Anchorage office of Holmes Weddle & Barcott in 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Schultz served as a judicial clerk for Judge Eric Smith of the Superior Court, Third Judicial District in Palmer, and the following year for Judge David Stewart of the Alaska Court of Appeals.
Before attending law school, Ms. Schultz worked as an analyst in an environmental laboratory, a member of a case management team for a national health insurance company, and a sales representative for an international supplier and manufacturer of biomedical equipment and supplies.
During law school, Ms. Schultz interned with a contract attorney for criminal defense in the state of Vermont and also with the New Hampshire Public Defender. Ms. Schultz completed independent research on the intersection of neuroscience and the law as well as coursework in support of a Masters of Studies in Environmental Law, encompassing alternative dispute resolution, ethics/philosophy, policy, regulation, and resource management/planning.
