Experience: Since joining the firm
in 1980, Mr. McKeever has represented a broad
cross-section of clients in commercial litigation
relating to banking, insurance issues and environmental/natural
resource issues. He has advised a number of
business enterprises on business structure and
related issues. He has done extensive work before
administrative agencies and the superior and
supreme courts. His clients have included Credit
Union 1, Continental Loss Adjusting Services,
CIGNA Insurance, Fireman's Fund Insurance Company
and Wausau Insurance Companies. In litigation
cases he has represented Amoco Production Co.,
Phillips Petroleum and ARCO Alaska, Inc. Previously,
Mr. McKeever was Chief of Staff for United States
Senator Ted Stevens in Washington, D.C.
Professional
Associations: Mr. McKeever is a member
of the American Bar Association (Business Law
Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental
Law Sections) and the Alaska Bar Association
(Natural Resources, Environmental and Business
Law Sections). He has served several years on
the Alaska Civil Jury Instructions Committee
by appointment of the Chief Justice.
