Professional
Experience: Mr. Warns was born in St.
Paul, Minnesota, in 1956. He began a maritime,
personal injury litigation and business law
practice in 1984. Mr. Warns practices out of
the Seattle office of the firm. He has handled
a wide variety of matters including extensive
litigation before state, federal, administrative,
and appellate courts.
Mr.
Warns represents numerous insurers and employers
in maritime defense claims.
Professional
Associations: Mr. Warns has spoken
on maritime law at numerous programs sponsored
by professional groups. Mr. Warns is active
in the Seattle-King County Bar Association for
which he organized and co-chaired the Trial
Practice Seminar in 1989. He also organized
a Pro Bono Conference and has served on several
bar committees. Mr. Warns is a member of the
American Bar Association and is AV Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell for Ethical Standards and Legal Ability.
