Professional Experience:
Mr. Warns was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1956. He began a maritime practice
in 1984. Mr. Warns practices out of the Seattle office of the firm. He has handled
a wide variety of matters including extensive litigation before state, federal,
administrative, and appellate courts.
Mr. Warns represents numerous
insurers and employers in maritime defense claims. He has received the highest Martindale-Hubbell
(AV) Peer Review rating.
Professional Associations:
Mr. Warns often speaks on maritime law at programs sponsored by professional groups
and maritime industry. Mr. Warns is active in the Seattle-King County Bar Association
for which he organized and co-chaired the Trial Practice Seminar in 1989. He also
organized a Pro Bono Conference and has served on several bar committees. He is
a member of various maritime associations.
