Experience: Prior to attending law
school, Mr. Sanford served four years with the
United States Coast Guard, primarily in Washington,
D.C. and Alaska. Mr. Sanford’s legal career
began with the United States Courts, serving
first as an intern to the Honorable Sidney C.
Volinn, United States Bankruptcy Judge, then
as law clerk to the Honorable John L. Weinberg,
United States Magistrate Judge, both of the
United States District Court for the Western
District of Washington.
Mr.
Sanford joined the firm in 1992. His practice
focuses on admiralty and maritime litigation,
especially insurance defense of personal injury
claims, and coverage disputes regarding property
and casualty claims.
Admitted to Practice: All State
and Federal Courts in Washington and Alaska
and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. |
