Experience: Ms. Heikkila joined Holmes
Weddle & Barcott in May 2001, following
three years of association with a general civil
trial practice in Washington, where she worked
primarily in the area of employment law.
Prior
to receiving her law degree, Ms. Heikkila worked
for 11 years as a health care administrator.
Her last position in the health care industry
prior to moving to her legal career was as a
human resource director for a Northwest healthcare
corporation. There, she was responsible for
human resources development, benefits administration,
workers’ compensation oversight, contract
negotiation and risk management.
Professional
Associations: Ms. Heikkila is a member
of the Washington State Bar Association, and
is an active member in the Labor and Employment
Law Section. She is also a member of the Defense
Research Institute and has been an active member
of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association.
