Professional Experience: Mr. Holloway joined Holmes Weddle & Barcott in 2003. He practices in the Firm’s San Diego and Anchorage offices, handling primarily workers’ compensation defense litigation under the Alaska Workers’ Compensation Act, the California Workers’ Compensation Code, and the Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act and its extensions under the Defense Base Act, the Non-Appropriated Funds Workers Compensation Program, and the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act. Mr. Holloway has developed an expansive workers’ compensation defense practice representing an extensive number of employers and insurers, including Alaska National Insurance Company, Broadspire, Gallagher Bassett, Northern Adjusters, Chartis, Compass Group USA, Federal Express, NovaPro Risk Solutions, Sedgwick CMS, CNA, Providence Health System, CH2M HILL, Trident Seafoods Corporation, National Interstate Insurance, Compass Group USA, Carlile Transportation Systems, Ahtna, CIRI, Chugach Alaska, Chenega Corporation, Zurich American Insurance, Liberty Mutual, Liberty Northwest, Wilton Adjustment, Vanliner Insurance, Doyon, and ACS.

Prior to joining the firm he practiced general civil litigation and personal injury defense at an Anchorage law firm. From 2000-2001, Mr. Holloway worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Niesje J. Steinkruger of the Alaska Superior Court.

Professional Associations: Mr. Holloway is a member of the Alaska Bar Association and the State Bar of California. He currently serves on the Alaska Workers’ Compensation Board’s panel for the selection of second independent medical examiners.
