Professional
Experience: Prior to joining the firm
in 1984, Mr. Casperson served as law clerk to
Honorable Milton M. Souter, Superior Court Judge,
State of Alaska, from 1979-80. He also served
as General Counsel to the Alaska Public Employees
Association, 1980 84, handling a wide variety
of matters, including litigation, contract negotiations,
arbitrations, and unfair labor practice complaints.
Mr.
Casperson practices in the firm’s Seattle
office and has represented clients in many areas
of practice, with a majority of his work in
matters related to maritime law, finance, commercial
litigation and corporate concerns. Mr. Casperson
also serves as a mediator and arbitrator.
Professional
Associations: Mr. Casperson served
as the Administrator of the APEA Legal Trust
Fund, a prepaid legal service plan for APEA
members. He has also served on the Board of
Directors of the Alaska State Employees Federal
Credit Union. Mr. Casperson is a member of the
Washington State Bar Association, the Alaska
Bar Association and the Maritime Law Association
of the United States.
