Experience: Mr. Marinkovich has more than forty years of trial experience in both state and federal
courts. During that time he has earned the respect of vessel owners, maritime employers, insurers brokers,
adjusters, and his opponents. While he actively engages in maritime litigation himself, he is often asked
by his peers to serve as a mediator in such cases.
Mr. Marinkovich has tried a broad range of jury and non-jury cases involving litigation of maritime and
non-maritime matters such as products liability, insurance coverage, personal injury and death, professional
liability, discrimination and harassment, automobile accidents, maritime contracts, indemnity claims, United
States Longshore and Harbor Workers claims, claims by railroad workers, and various other litigation matters.
Born in Cathlamet, Washington, Mr. Marinkovich completed his undergraduate education at the University of
Washington in 1954. After completing a portion of his legal studies at the University of Washington Law
School, he entered the military, serving in the United States Army. Following completion of his military
obligations and his honorable discharge, he returned to the University of Washington and completed his legal
studies in 1959, earning a Bachelor of Law and Letters. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr.
Marinkovich enjoys golf, and has been a member of the Seattle Golf Club since 1974.

Mr. Marinkovich is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity, a
longtime member of the Maritime Law Association and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
