Mr. Stone joined Holmes, Weddle & Barcott in March 2007, in an Of Counsel capacity. Previously, Mr. Stone was managing shareholder of Stone & Jenicek, a firm which he started in 1978 as a sole practitioner.
Mr. Stone’s practice and prior experience is primarily in the area of civil litigation, representing insurance companies and/or insureds. He practices in the areas of personal injury, property damage and insurance coverage disputes involving all lines of insurance, including property, general liability, automobile and professional liability.
Mr. Stone has represented many of the public utilities throughout the State of Alaska in the areas of insurance, contract and general liability law and participates as a speaker on liability and insurance issues at seminars and conferences sponsored by the Alaska Power Association and ARECA Insurance Exchange.
Mr. Stone is a member of the Anchorage, Alaska, Washington State (inactive), and American Bar Associations and a member of the Defense Counsel of Alaska.
