Jannine Myers joined the Seattle office of Holmes, Weddle and Barcott in 2018. She has over 22 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation Law, first as a paralegal in California, and since 2007, as an attorney in Washington. Since 2013, Jannine has limited her practice to representing self-insured and state-fund employers under the Washington State Industrial Insurance Act. Prior to beginning her representation of employers in the State of Washington, Jannine was an associate attorney at two local firms representing injured workers in workers’ compensation and personal injury matters. Her experience representing claimants gives her invaluable insight that helps her better serve Washington self-insured and state-fund employers.
Jannine regularly appears before the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals and Superior Courts of Washington and has resolved a myriad of complex cases for her clients. Jannine provides strategic, effective counsel with the goal of obtaining the best possible outcome results for her clients in all cases.
Prior to attending law school, Jannine was a paralegal in California working for both employer and claimant workers’ compensation firms. Once she completed law school she answered the call of the Pacific Northwest, left sunny San Diego, and now calls Seattle her home (albeit with plenty of San Diego vacations). Jannine is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, California Bar Association, and Washington Self-Insurers Association.
In her free time, you can find Jannine spending time with her husband and three daughters looking for Sasquatch in the mountains, baking, running various 10k and half marathons, camping, and attending Mariners’ games.
