DanielMr. Barcott practices in the Seattle office of Holmes Weddle & Barcott assisting clients in admiralty and maritime issues, insurance coverage, and insurance defense.

Mr. Barcott joined Holmes Weddle & Barcott in 2015 after graduating from the University Of Washington School Of Law.  While in law school, Mr. Barcott served as the Senior Comments Editor of the Washington International Law Journal.  Mr. Barcott also participated in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Pro Bono Program, assisting pro se litigants in matters before the Ninth Circuit.  As a law student, Mr. Barcott interned for two years in the Seattle office of Holmes Weddle & Barcott.

During his undergraduate summers, Mr. Barcott served as a deckhand and engineer aboard a high-speed catamaran tour vessel in Ketchikan, Alaska.  During this time, Mr. Barcott accumulated sufficient sea time to sit for a United States Coast Guard 100-ton captain’s license for inland waters.

Mr. Barcott is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, crabbing, shrimping, diving, and golfing.

Mr. Barcott is a member of the Washington State Bar.
